5 MORNING PRACTICES TO BOOST YOUR MINDSET + PRODUCTIVITY TO CREATE

I don’t do all of these things every morning, but do based on what I need the most, well except prayer, I pray every morning…well most every morning. I’m human.

I switched from using the word routine to practices after reading a blog from The Bold Approach. 

We actually share the same name [Shadé], she spells hers like the singer though.

 

So, here are my list of morning practices to boost your creative mindset and put a kick in your productivity.

I hope you can incorporate at least 1 in your morning, and then once you have that one down, add another.

 

PRAY // MEDITATE

Prayer is my meditation.

 

JOURNAL // WRITE

Take advantage of that fresh morning brain…..(umm…yea)

Almost all my writing is done in the morning. This includes:

  • Blogs
  • Youtube Copy + Notes (pre-filming)
  • Body+Brand Newsletters
  • Sales Page Copy
  • Journaling
  • Reflection
  • Gratitude Statement for the Day

 

YOGA // STRETCH

Yoga in the morning. If no time for yoga, then stretch it out. Stretch out the parts of your body that need close attention

 

ONE PRIORITY TASK

Set up your Top 3 things to do the night before or morning of. Should take about 2 minutes

I try to get all these things done before the sun rises. There’s something about the stillness in the dark that helps me focus.

Plus when light hits my kids start waking up, and any real work is not getting done while they’re up.

 

LET THE LIGHT IN

Restart your day everyday by letting the light in.

…AND get plants as a reminder to do it!

MORNING AFFIRMATION

My sister reminded me of this one. Say the affirmation(s) of your choosing each and every morning to boost your mindset and speak your desires into existence.

Here is one that I include in my Org + Amp Checklist:

Another one I used to say every day for a few months is:

“It’s my time now, and I’m ready for the next step.”
